The Story of Rockee Redd

Rockee Redd didn't start in a lab.

It started with a sick little boy, a desperate mother, and a bottle of NyQuil with red 40 as one of its top ingredients.

That was the moment everything changed.

Christina Kreitel is a formally trained herbalist, a certified nutritionist, a Priestess, and an international award winning hairstylist. For over a decade she worked on stage and behind the chair, transforming women from the outside in. She understood early on that there is something sacred in the act of being seen. That beauty is not vanity. It is a form of self respect, of self expression, of coming home to yourself.

But it was motherhood that cracked everything open.

When her son was vaccine injured and the conventional medical system had nothing real to offer, she went looking for answers anywhere she could find them. She learned to cook from scratch. She studied everything from mineral content in soil to nervous system regulation. She pursued formal training in herbalism through the Herbal Academy all the way through their advanced levels and became a certified nutritionist through Precision Nutrition. She became obsessed with understanding the human body the way it was always meant to be understood: from the inside out, with honesty, with nature, and without compromise.

What she found, again and again, was that nature had the answer. It always had. We had just been taught to forget.

Along the way she met Alicia, a wise, fierce, and deeply generous older woman who became her mentor, her teacher, and eventually her best friend. Alicia gave her the foundation of her herbalism knowledge, a gift that has been spent years building upon, deepening, and pouring into every product created here. When Alicia passed in 2021, she left behind her recipes, her goat herd, and her legacy.

Those recipes are the foundation of Rockee Redd.

In 2021 Christina partnered with a friend, Natalie, who brought her own creativity and vision to the brand and co-built Rockee Redd for the following few years. When the time came for Natalie to leave and pursue a deeper passion she had long dreamed of, she took with her the gratitude of everyone here. Her fingerprints on this story are real and they are honored.
